Davide Zanolini graduated from Bocconi University in 1993 with a degree in business administration and management. Zanolini first started gathering international marketing experience at the Pernod Ricard Group in Milan, where he began his professional career in 1995 as Brand Manager; The Walt Disney Company; and Perfetti Van Melle, where he originally joined as Group Brand Manager in 1998, but his growing responsibilities gave him the opportunity to serve as Sales and Marketing Director in Brazil from 2002 to 2007 as well as Global Marketing Director at the group’s headquarters in Switzerland from 2007 to 2012.
From 2012 to 2013, he was the Vice President of Global Marketing at Pirelli Tyre. Zanolini joined Piaggio Group in November 2013 not only as a Member of the Management Board, but also as the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communication, leading the strategic and global marketing operations of all the group’s brands: Vespa, Piaggio Scooters, Aprilia, Gilera, Moto Guzzi, Derbi, Scarabeo and Commercial Vehicles. A perennial globetrotter and motorcyclist with an abiding interest in mobility and the world of motor sports, he is passionate about design, golf, soccer, and everything and anything that stimulates the curiosity of someone deeply fascinated by change and innovation.
